A SCUBA diver in green water

Green water SCUBA diver

Our Club members come from all walks of life and spans all ages. This provides us with a huge range of diving interests, knowledge and experience within the Club, including stuff which is simply not available from text books or courses. The membership is the key strength of the Club and why it has become so successful.

We cater for all levels of diving qualifications and organise dive trips to suit a wide range of interests from wrecks to photography to technical and so on. Diving is arranged by our Trip Organisers and incorporates UK inland and sea diving as well as overseas trips. The dive calendar is available on this website. Club members can put their name down for any of the dives posted on the dive calendar and on payment of the agreed *deposit their places will be reserved.

We meet on the first Thursday of every month at Windsor & Eton Football Club, Stag Meadows, St Leonards Road, Windsor, SL4 3DR. Each month we invite a guest speaker to give a presentation to our members on a diving related subject. Past talks have included speakers from the Titanic expeditions, Police divers, Marine biologists, Marine Archaeologists, Cave and Technical divers; to name but a few and for fully paid up members this is all free! Non-members are welcome to attend our club nights – there is usually a small fee to cover costs).

The club organises various social events throughout the year which can include meals out, activity days, dive show trips and our annual festive season party. We also support various conservation organisations and arrange conservation days (details of which can be found on the dive calendar).

All members are encouraged to get involved with running the Club, social events and/or to stand for a Committee position. The Club holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March when the new Committee is voted into office. Nominations will be posted prior to the meeting and anyone can stand. If you’re interested in any of the positions please don’t hesitate to speak to us to find out what is involved and whether you could help out.

#Trip Organisers are responsible for the organisation and booking of club dives and are generally in attendance on the dive trip. Trip Organisers may occasionally delegate duties to a Dive Manager.

* Deposits are normally the full cost of the dive – occasionally deposits are part-payment only. Deposits are non-refundable unless your space can be filled by another diver should you not be able to attend the dive.
